Nearby Attractions & Walks

Cairns Holiday Lodge is a 20 minute walk along the Esplanade to lots of restaurants, unusual playgrounds, skateboard park, beach volley ball court all on the waterfront.  If you stroll the other way, 20mins you’ll be at the stunning Botanic Gardens via a beautiful Boardwalk over Centenary Lakes. From here, you'll find yourself within a stonesthrow to picturesque Rainforests' of Cairns where you can challenge yourself to the popular RED ARROW WALK 1.3KM or the BLUE ARROW WALK 5KM.

The Great Barrier Reef

Immerse yourself in the beauty of this world wonder. Get out and explore the reef on a scuba dive or snorkelling adventure, or witness its magnificence from the comfort of a glass bottom boat. All the best tours can be booked free of charge from the tour desk at our accommodation Cairns.

Beaches and Rainforests

Cool off with a dip in the ocean, learn to jet-ski or simply kick back on the golden sand of one of the region’s many beautiful golden beaches.

If you crave adventures in the wilderness, you can spend unforgettable afternoons hiking through ancient rainforest at Daintree and Kuranda.
